The Jackson Park and Recreation Department has 6 area parks which include amenities such as: Splash Park, Wheel Park, Disc Golf Course, Multiple Playground Structures, Trails, Ball Fields, Soccer Field, Sand Volleyball Courts, Basketball Courts, Tennis Courts and Park Shelters. In addition, the community treasure is the 26,000 sq. ft Jackson Area Community Center equipped with gymnasium, early childhood wing, dance studio, art studio, computer lab, games room, meeting rooms, teen center, catering kitchen, gathering hall and fitness center.
