City of Hartford Memorial Day Events

Hartford’s Veterans of Foreign Wars, United Vietnam Vets of Hartford and the American Legion are sponsoring Memorial Day events.

6 a.m. – Visits to cemeteries. Rifle Salutes will be conducted at each cemetery. Following will be raising the Avenue of Flags at Sawyer Park.
9:15 a.m. – The Naval and Vietnam memorials will be in front of Hartford City Hall. 
10 a.m. – Memorial Day Parade on Main Street in downtown Hartford. Memorial Day Honorary Parade Marshall is Korean War Veteran Spencer Olsen.
10:30 a.m. – The Memorial Day Ceremony at Sawyer Park in the City of Hartford.
