Honoring the Lives Lost and the Heroic Efforts of First Responders, there will be a September 11 Remembrance Event on Wednesday, September 11 at 1p.m. at the Wisconsin 9/11 Memorial and Education Center.
The ceremony will take place at the memorial site, located at 1308 Fond du Lac Avenue, Kewaskum, Wisconsin.

We had a lot of fun at the Travel Wisconsin booth at the Wisconsin State Fair this year, showcasing experiences and engaging in conversations with individuals interested in exploring what Washington County has to offer. Thank you to those who stopped by!
If you visited us, we included a survey in our bags. The deadline is Aug. 15 to submit your responses to be entered in our drawing. We appreciate hearing about your experiences in Washington County.

The Museum of Wisconsin Art’s (MOWA) Art & Chalk Fest 2024 is coming up this weekend!
This annual event held on August 17 & 18 is a live arts festival featuring artists creating amazing large scale chalk art right in front of your eyes, Wisconsin artisans and makers, food trucks, beer garden, live music, glass blowing demo, clay sculpting, an activity zone and more!
Free admission to the museum on Saturday and Sunday.
In addition, you won’t want to miss the Weaving a Legacy: Ho-Chunk Black Ash Basketry exhibition, a first-of-its-kind featuring nearly 200 works by over 40 Ho-Chunk makers from the mid-1800s to the present.
