With seven bands on two stages–one in the heart of a maple forest and the other framed by the reflections of a tranquil pond–you’ll be transported by music at this celebration of fall. \n\n\n\nAutumn Acoustics is an all-ages music festival including food trucks\, interactive activities for kids\, cookies\, coffee\, and a beer & wine bar. Not to mention incredible views along the trails of our natural sanctuary. All proceeds support Riveredge Nature Center’s work in environmental education\, conservation\, and community connection!

SUMMARY:Slinger Trails & Cheers
DESCRIPTION:Slinger Trails and Cheers is a fun-filled community event that invites hikers of all levels to explore the beautiful Slinger and Cedar Lakes Segments of the Ice Age National Scenic Trail. After your trek\, come celebrate featuring delicious food\, drinks and great company. It is a perfect way to enjoy the trails\, meet new friends and share stories from the hike.This event is a Trail Community celebration being co-hosted by the Washington/Ozaukee Chapter of the Ice Age Trail and the Slinger Parks and Rec Department. \n\n\n\nHike shuttles will be provided between 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM starting at Slinger Community Park. Get dropped off at one of 3 locations and hike back to Community Park. \n\n\n\n\nDropoff C = hike 1 mile on the Slinger Segment (Cedar Creek Rd)\n\n\n\nDropoff B = hike 3.25 miles on the Cedar Lakes and Slinger Segments (Polk Kames parking lot)\n\n\n\nDropoff A = hike 4 miles on the Cedar Lakes and Slinger Segments (CTH NN). This hike features a mile of new trail constructed just a week earlier.\n\n\n\n\nAfter your hike\, hang out at Slinger Community Park to enjoy food\, beverages and entertainment from 4-7 PM. \n\n\n\nIf you signed up for the Ice Age Trail’s Mammoth Challenge\, you will earn hiking miles\, check off one of your Trail Communities and earn 5 bonus miles for attending a Challenge event. \n\n\n\nLOCATION: Meet at Slinger Community Park\, 128 Kettle Moraine Dr N\, Slinger\, WI 53086.  Watch for yellow “Ice Age Trail Event” signs. \n\n\n\nWHAT TO BRING: Wear comfortable hiking boots and dress appropriately for the weather. Bring water and insect repellant.
