Dheinsville Settlement & Bast Bell Museum
Maintained by the Germantown Historical Society, the six way crossroads settlement park includes 3 museums plus pre-Civil War buildings of the original hamlet. The Wolf Haus, the 1862 Christ Church, the Bast Bell Museum, Fire Hall, and a genealogy research library. Organizers of the annual Oktoberfest held the last weekend of September.
Deutschstadt Heritage Foundation
Preserving & celebrating German Heritage. Organizers of Maifest, held in May. A traditional German festival celebrating the arrival of spring. Polka bands, ethnic dancers, including the traditional Mai Pole celebration, and authentic German food. Live music both Friday and Saturday night.
